Book Club: Yes please
To be honest, I’m not really excited with this book. I think my expectations were to high… as a huge SNL and Parks and Recreation fan I though it would be an amazing book, like Bossypants by Tina Fey! That book was hilarious… the chapter about the cruise trip is still one of the funniest things I have ever read. But Yes Please was a little too weird for me. There were chapters that I loved, but after that there would be an impossible to finish one. I do recommend checking the SNL and Parks and Recreation’s related chapters. I wish the SNL one was a little bit longer as it was one of my favorites, but oh well! If you read it, please let me know what you think!

February 6, 2015 at 4:52 pm (2 months ago)I really wanted to read this book, as I had high hopes for it too – I didn’t buy it but decided to download it on audible, but could not get into it, even with Amy reading it. I guess it just came off as too contrived and honestly not all that funny. I thought about reading it instead, but it seems it would not make that much of a difference in your opinion!
