Outside of your comfort zone

A few days ago, I posted an outfit (here) in which I felt a little bit out of my comfort zone. Whenever I wear a bold piece I tend to let it shine by its own by styling it with black and neutral items. So, when I saw my final look…it was actually quite boring! This made me wanna start playing outside my comfort zone. And it also made me wonder about my readers… made me wanna challenge them and see some outfits in which they felt outside their comfort zone. And here are my favorite ones:

Kyle has one of the coolest styles I’ve seen. I think the combination of patterns and textures is what she does best! So when I saw her email saying that she used to be a very minimalist person, I just couldn’t believe it! Her blog inspires me to wear whatever I want, however I want! And this is the first outfit in which she paired three different print together! And it looks amazing!!!

Kizzy sent me two beautiful pictures of this look, and it was really difficult to pick one! I ended up sharing this one, as the lighting is just gorgeous! For her, wearing a peplum dress  was definitely something she did not think she would like. She doesn’t normally wear dresses so fitting to her body, but is definitely glad that she bought it and tried something new! And I gotta agree, the peplum dress looks gorgeous on her! Funny thing is, tight dresses are also outside my comfort zone! Maybe I should try some peplum looks inspired by Kizzy? :)

Carmen sent me this outfit because this beautiful polka-dot dress was really tight and at that time she did not feel confident about her body. She also said, that normally she does not wear tight tops or dresses. I gotta say, most of the times I pick flare blouses and dresses because of the same reason…and that’s just so silly, cause look how gorgeous Carmen looks here! I just love this look, so beautiful with the see through sleeves!

Whenever I check Coco’s blog… all I can think about is how much I wanna raid her closet! She has so many beautiful things (like this dress!), so I was a little surprised (and excited) when she sent me a picture to participate in the challenge! She had this lime blazer in the closet for several months (yes! months!!!) before she found a way to style it. I think that happens to everyone… at least it happens to me A LOT! And the funniest thing is it happens with things I totally think I will wear a lot and with everything! But I love how Coco ended up styling her lime blazer in such an edgy way…with the super colorful bag and the baggy jeans!

    This looks wonderful, all of these ladies look wonderful!! I like that all of us had something different as a concern, but pushed ourselves to try something new :)) Everyone looks beautiful & I love the styles. Thank you again so much for inviting me to take part, it was a lot of fun!! I’ve kept this dress, but I am going to customize it, to put some bright colours on it :))) I will post on it again when I’m finished. Have a wonderful weekend doll xox
