Oreo pudding cookies recipe

Several months ago I purchased an Oreo pudding mix at an american store in Berlin. I don’t really like pudding… but as I was there and it is impossible to find in Linz, I just had to buy it! After many (many!!!) weeks taking room in my pantry, I decided to make something else with it. After checking different kinds of desserts, I found this Oreo pudding cookies recipe by No.2 Pencil. I changed a few things… mostly because I did not have them!

Here is how I did it :)

Ingredients:

14 tbsp of softened butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, JELLO-O Oreo instant pudding, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, 2 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 12 Oreo cookies.

Instructions:

- Preheat the oven to 200ºc – Mix butter and sugar, then add pudding mix, salt and vanilla extract. – Stir on low just until combined. Add eggs, flour and baking soda –  Break oreos in 4 pieces and add them to the mix. Let mixer crush them up a bit – Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Do not leave longer… they get burned super easily (First time I burned something :D)

As this recipe is inspired by the one at No.2 Pencil, you can download the recipe card there!

And you should check their recipes, I personally cannot wait to try the One Pan Fettuccine Alfredo and the Snickerdoodle Pancakes!

Oh, in case you are wondering where the beautiful plate with a worm is from… well, I made it at Made by you! :D OK, I actually just painted it and glued the worm to it!

Nunca he probado el puddin pero esta receta que nos presentas se ve muy rica, parecen galletas; estoy segura de que ese “toque improvisado” que le diste a la receta resultó muy bien. Bss y feliz sábado, Ileana:)
