First days in Indiana

We’ve been in Indiana for almost 15 days… and to be honest I feel like both not much and a lot has happened! Until yesterday, we did not even have internet nor cable!!! So while my husband was at work, I would be in charge of cleaning and organizing all our stuff (4 luggages and 4 carry ons!). You can imagine my tasks were done in one second… so I had to go to reading, eating and napping :). Eventually a piece of furniture would arrive, and I would spend some hours building it. It is not like there is nothing to do here!!! Valparaiso is a beautiful city with a lot of stuff going on! It even has a bus for those who still do not know how to drive (me!), but the weather! Oh my! It is even colder than I expected! So I better stay in and enjoy the heater, lemon and the comfy sofa! One of my first purchases was a Keurig machine, so I have enough Swiss Miss and Tea!. Once my husband is back from work… it’s all about shopping and checking out stores! Our stuff will be here in February, so until then we need to make sure to have a few things to live! We also need a few extra furniture pieces… so we have been super entertained! Now I’m finally catching up with some of my favorite tv shows… and btw, fashion bloggers in the cover of Lucky?! How cool is that?!

Aren’t you living rather close to Chicago? If yes, you have to take trip to the city. It’s my favorite place in the states, and you simply can’t beat the food there. Especially the pizza.

January 15, 2015 at 5:30 pm (3 months ago)I would have been so sad without internet. Sounds like an adventure and hopefully it won’t be too long until you get your stuff.
I’m so bad at building furniture. I did some drawers a couple years ago and they collapsed

January 15, 2015 at 7:41 pm (3 months ago)Moving between countries sounds exciting and horrible! I just imagine ALL of the stuff I would have to move and it terrifies me, but it looks like you did it with grace! Can’t wait to hear more about your life in Indiana!

January 19, 2015 at 5:36 am (3 months ago)I love Indiana! My Aunt and Uncle live there and when I visit the USA (which isn’t as often as I would like, but fingers are always crossed!) I love visiting them. I also love The Mindy Project, that episode was hilarious
