Today I wanted to show you a few pictures from the downtown area of Valparaiso, Indiana… the place that I now call home! I love that there is a beautiful downtown, full with restaurants and stores, and that you can walk around and check the windows while enjoying an ice-cream… and it is so good that the weather finally allows me to do so! I even found some beautiful spots to make outfit shoots… I really can’t wait to show you how beautiful Valpo is!

After some days without posting, I’m finally back… full time! With my old schedule, pinky swear! I have been super busy and really entertained in this beautiful new place I call home. I moved to Indiana on January 1st, and since then I have been doing tons of paperwork, decorating the new home, and playing tourist with my husband! Also, my mom was here so I had the opportunity to play tourist guide with her… though I have to admit that I barely know the area! While my mom was here, we visited Chicago and did some touristic things over there… like taking selfies with The Bean at Millennium Park. It was so much fun!! I thought it would be a tourist cliche… but I loved it! We also walked around Magnificient Mile, which was totally crowded. I did not buy much, just a gift for a friend and some Benefit makeup which I will show you soon!

Last weekend I went on a short trip to Switzerland! I booked a room in the EuroNight train and was in Zurich in a really short time. The room was way smaller than I expected, but the beds were super comfortable… and as long as no one was standing, it was great! I slept throughout the ride and the motion had me bouncing the entire next day… but that was just a tiny side effect to the best way of traveling!!! During my short vacation in Switzerland, we went on a day trip to Colmar, a city in the Alsace region of France. To be honest, I only bought pastries! Nothing can beat those french delicacies

I’ve been wanting to go to New Orleans since always! Even though I always loved country music, my interest for the US south started during my first visit to NC. Sadly, I couldn’t go to New Orleans during my semester in TN… so I hope I can go soon! Los Cabos, Mexico

To be honest, I’m not the biggest beach fan… kids and sand are not a combination that makes me feel relaxed. But I would love to go to Los Cabos… it is impossible not to relax there!

San Antonio, TX

I do not know why I wanna go to San Antonio, but it looks like a beautiful city… and the river walk has me really curious! Seems like the perfect place to walk around and get some yummy food To read more about San Antonio you can check this post at Big Mama.

Charleston, SC

I believe that any place with a pineapple fountain is worth a visit! How beautiful is this fountain???!!! But I mean, the whole city looks charming and like a fairy tale, those pastel houses are adorable! Really cannot wait to visit Charleston. Mobile, AL

I definitely blame Hart of Dixie for making me wanna go to Mobile! The city looks beautiful… I think this picture says it all! If you wanna find out more about Mobile, you can check this blog post by Everywhere Once.

Atlantis, Bahamas

It is quite contrasting after Mobile… but who wouldn’t want to go to Atlantis?! I think I will leave this one till I have teenage kids, so they can pretend they are Mary Kate and Ashley in Holiday in the Sun!

Copenhagen, Denmark

I’ve been wanting to go to Copenhagen since I was a teenager, and I really do not know why I haven’t been there yet! Mostly cause I visited a bunch of other places that were not a must. Zaanse Schans… definitely my favorite place in The Netherlands, and the best part is that it was unplanned! We ended up going there because Amsterdam was way to crowded and we wanted to do something relaxing that we could enjoy with Lemon (my pug puppy ^^). We did not know much about this place, we just drove there… and to our surprise it was amazing! You do not have to pay an entry fee, but you better take some money cause the amount of delicious cheese, chocolates and beautiful handicrafts to buy is crazy! One of the things I splurge on was cocoa powder, as they have a cute little chocolate store where you can make your own chocolate, instead of doing this I just bought a glass of chocolate milk… oh my! Had to go back to get some of it! I also bought a bunch of souvenirs, including a hand painted cheese shredded… it’s so beautiful, the kind that makes you sad to use it! I absolutely loved this place… so, if you are planning a trip to Amsterdam, I recommend you to make a day trip to Zaanse Schan and daydream while walking around the windmills. Oh! How I wish I could live in that cute house from the first picture!!! <3

Oh! Amsterdam!!! I’m so happy I finally get to show you some of my favorite pictures from my short trip to the Netherland’s capital! I fell in love with the architecture, the food… the city is beautiful, though I have to admit that I wish it was less crowded! Maybe is even crowder during the summer season. We planned on staying three days in Amsterdam, but after the first exhausting day we decided to do a little research and ended up going on a day trip to Zaanse Schans. Best idea ever! Stay tuned cause I will post those pictures super soon

There is something about these pictures that asked for a B&W look… I do not know if it is my mood right now, if you like my facebook page you might know that I’ve been having a huge tooth pain and even spent the last days with pain killers! Gladly this happened at the very end of my two week road trip! Or maybe, the B&W effect has something to do with the privacy meant inside a bedroom, something that one does not normally get in hotel room and that The Weinmeister Hotel definitely provides with their best privacy policies eveeer!

During my stay in Berlin, I was lucky enough to have breakfast every day at Die Schwarz Bar in The Weinmeister Hotel. The location is beautiful, and very practical as I was staying at the Weinmeister Hotel! Also, the chairs are gorgeous! They have these super tall and oversized sofas that create a very private atmosphere. For breakfast we always ordered a tower, which I shared with my husband… and I used the honey for the warm milk! Such a yummy breakfast drink! I also devoured the croissants and cakes, while my husband ate the top two tiers. I’m always more of a bread & butter, croissants, cereal and cakes kinda girl… while he has scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bacon and all the things I would consider as lunch or brunch ^^

I’m so excited that this time of the year is already here! In just a few days I’m going to Berlin for MBFWB and while running around the city from event to event, I will be super lucky to call The Weinmeister home!. This design hotel located in Berlin-Mitte, which is definitely my favorite section to stay, as it is super close to beautiful shopping streets and restaurants! The Weinmeister is aimed at business travellers from the film, music, fashion (me!!!) and other creative fields… of course, you can also stay there if you are going for leisure and wanna enjoy your stay in a creative environment :). I really cannot wait to be there… most of you already know how much I love hotels, and waking up in those beautiful rooms! And even more whenever there is a spa inside the hotel! Hope I can squeeze a few massages and facials in my schedule! And did I mention that breakfast is available throughout the day? Heaven much??!

Last weekend, I attended an argentinean reunion at a Polo Club in Schloss Ebreichsdorf. To be honest, I’m not the biggest Polo fan, though I can see it’s charm and I do like some  pieces from La Martina… but I’m the kind of girl that is crying and super depressed when a horse gets hurt. The way I see it, we decide if we want to play Polo or not and we know the risks of doing so… but horses are kinda forced. So I’m all tears whenever one is just a little bit hurt! (Disclaimer: No horses were hurt during this event! Dreamer left enough sad images to pervade my lifetime)

You might wonder what kind of event it was, why we had an argentinean reunion at a polo match… all I can say is, that’s how cool we are! I believe that a big amount of all the argentineans living in Austria attended the event, and we had super yummy food! My husband was over the moon with the meat… I’m sorry I do not have pictures of the food, but I do not like sharing pictures of meat!
