After mixing a banana bread completely by hand, I decided to splurge and get the coveted Kitchen Aid! The amount of different colors stole my thoughts for a whole week. Should I get the Watermelon or the Pistachio green? Maybe the cornflower blue it’s better… or yellow… or lavander?! And then I saw the Bayleaf green and decided we were meant to be together! Then it arrived.. and I fell in love! It is so beautiful and it works even better than I expected. Can’t wait to start baking with it… and maybe buy the ice cream attachment

Christmas is almost here!!! But as I told you, this christmas we won’t exchange gifts nor decorate the house because we are moving! We will exchange gifts a little bit later, once we are moved in our new home. I know I still haven’t told you were we are going… is not that I can’t, I just have to find a moment to take pictures in which the sun is out and I’m not full of sweat from packing. It’s not something easy! But in between the items in my Christmas wishlist there is a hint of the beautiful place I will call home

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”

Lately I’ve been obsessed with rustic decorations like pines and wood. I’ve been more attracted to chunky wooden tables, than the more whites ones I used to prefer. So, I decided to take this thought into the season and collected this rustic christmas inspiration images. Sadly, this year we won’t be having a tree (will let you know why next week! I promise!) so I can only stare at these pictures and plan next year’s decorations!

And this is my favorite room! My own closet and office room… where I can put whatever I want to! One of the closets is full with my hubby’s clothes, but the rest is all mineeee!!! Yay! In these pictures you can see the place where I store all my cute things and work everyday on my blog. Some of my favorite things here are my hoopnotica hula-hoop, my cute maqaroon post card, the Moschino Barbie phone case, the Novelstyle No Gallery sign,  the Stackers where I store all me jewelry, Mindy Kaling’s cards and my hanger full of clothes that I wanna wear in the next days.  Today, I wanted to show you another part of my home… the kitchen! I love my cute little kitchen… and the Ikea island we added definitely gives us more room to work. I still wish it was a little bit bigger, cause whenever I’m cooking with my husband… it is a chaos! But the Ikea furniture definitely helped create more space and connect the kitchen to the rest of the home. Funny story is, that island was not really that… when I built it I just did not put the bottom shelve and that gave enough room for the chairs to go inside. Risky move… but turned out great! Just this morning I watched the new Mr. Kate episode in which she helps her sister decorate her new apartment and I’m feeling super inspired! I need the eat sign

A few posts ago I told you that I had something very important to share… but it is a secret, and cannot share it yet! But what I can tell you it’s that it involves a lot of packing and organizing. Through all the packing, I realized I still haven’t share pictures of my home with you! So I decided to start doing that This post is dedicated to the entrance… one of my favorite sections! I love the lamp I was looking for something wooden to hang there that would match the furniture, and it was quite difficult! Gladly, I found a floor lamp and we separated and turned it into a ceiling lamp! We also have a clothes hanger and shoe seat, which are very common here in Austria but that drive me crazy! Mostly when there are 5 jackets hanging there… really wish it was closed or hidden.

No Gallery is an atelier shop located in Köln, Germany. This beautiful atelier is owned by Elisabeth Rosenkranz and Andreas Burgmann, a designer couple with a shared interest and love for words. In the last few years they collected more than a 1000 words and texts!  Everyday they make new words that you can find at their website or at their atelier, which is fully decorated with words. There, you can also find lamps and jewelry pieces. Another original idea at their store is the golden book, where you can write down word suggestions and if they they pick it… you get it for free!. So if you are in Köln, I recommend visiting their atelier with a few words on your mind…

Soon, you will be able to find these products at selected stores in Germany, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland. But in the meantime, if you cannot make it to Köln, they also have an online store! There you can find a huge variety of already made words for weddings, christmas or home decoration. You can decorate your kitchen or office with different letters or pre-made words… or you can even pick your own word or phrase! They offer three different sizes in two different materials, acrylic or wood. The acrylic ones are only available in see-through or black, but the wooden one comes in any color you can think of, even gold, pink, yellow, silver or blue! My Novelstyle sign is the large wood one in white. I decided to have my blog’s name on it as it would be super cute to include on some of my pictures and also to decorate my blog’s office.
